These made the perfect thank you cards after a group of girlfriends and I had a sushi night out. The paper is high quality and somewhat glossy. I tried a few pens on it before finding one that didn't smudge and didn't take too long to dry. I generally use gel pens but they were too risky with the smudging. I ended up using a very fine sharpie pen. These are square cards so they will require extra postage to mail in the US. I think they were 64cents when I mailed them.

Vintage postcard of the City Hall in Torrington, Connecticut. The postcard dates to 1898, and it has an undivided back. The card is in good condition with wear to the corners and edges, and the corners show some scrapbook wear. The card was never used or mailed.

1898 Vintage Postcard City Hall Torrington Connecticut Review

This postcard dates from 1904/05, published by the father of the Torrington postcard, Harry W. Flieg. Some of his early postcards are published with and without publisher numbers. The same photograph may have a different font or publisher's number. The publisher's number in this Flieg postcard of City Hall is (I believe) 2c30-1; however, he has published an identical City Hall postcard numbered 30c3. In the 30c3 postcard the backside (address side) has burgundy print with curlicues around the P in Post and around the stamp box area as well. It also carries the mark of the printer, Pease.
So, before purchasing this card I would like to know the following:
1. if the publisher's number in the card for sale is 2c30-1 (it was a little light to read)
2. a description of the reverse side of this postcard; or better yet, an image.

Diva Dog Pop-up Valentines (32) Review

These are the coolest Valentine cards I've ever owned; why couldn't I have had them in elementary school instead of at age 24?! I've kept one of each design for myself and am giving the rest out to family and friends over a few years, but a couple boxes of these would have been great for a class party. Well...maybe for the females and certain males who might enjoy them, hehe.

Since this isn't really a toy, the rating categories don't exactly apply. I gave four stars for educational value and durability because, well, they're shiny pop-up-style paper cards, so they're only as durable as they can be. Just be careful with them. And they're pretty educational as far as Valentine cards go, because they feature realistic breeds of dog.

It's easy to insert the tabs and make the purse pooches pop up, then fold 'em shut. The sayings are cute, clever, and can be appropriate for a variety of people you know. I've had fun giving mine out based upon the breeds and greetings.

These designs are excellent--bright, colorful, and fun. The set includes eight breeds:

-Chihuahua
-Shih Tzu
-West Highland White Terrier
-Smooth Dachshund
-English Cocker Spaniel
-Skye Terrier
-Poodle
-Saluki

I was particularly delighted to see the Poodle, Dachshund, and Cocker, but it was the Skye and the Saluki (my very favorite breed) that completely sold me. To see two such awesome, rare breeds included in the mix blew my mind.

Strongly recommended for any dog lover!
