I bought this unit because:
1) It had to be White (overall) & Black to match all the other white Apple, Epson, NeatReceipts products in my office - that's just my taste.
2) Micro-cut for greater security

Pros:
1) Nice looking
2) It is quite quiet, as advertised
3) Micro-cut shredding
4) Kind of heavy with no handles, but the top head blade section is medium duty so it's well built, and really, there is no need to move it after you put it in place -right? But if you do, it does have wheels.
5) Large front basket window, you can really see how much space you have left and I like the way it slides out, I don't have to lift the top like I had to with my older Royal unit.
6) Status lights on top
7) Works as advertised, takes all 8 papers w/o overheating and the thermal switch cutting the unit off like other less expensive shredders
8) Comes with cleaning lubricating sheets and bag
9) Other sites mentioned that they didn't like the wasted space that having a separate credit card/ CD opening on top provides, I don't believe it is a problem.
Cons:
1) Can't shred with staples, but then, I never do anyway
