I chose the B-161C shredder for my home after two smaller Roayal units that barely lasted until the end of the warranty. This unit has performed outstandingly well. Initally I used this to shred mounds of paper, roughly 25-30 reams of papers, stopping to oil the machine and sort through more documents to eliminate overheating the unit. This was all within the first three days and it still works like a charm. The unit has never jammed, and handles shredding credit cards and CDs like a charm.
