The PX1000 has a large pull out drawer that makes it very easy to dump your shredded waste. With Royals patented safety bar, the PX shuts itself down if the drawer is open. The shredder works really well. There are two drawbacks (for me): first, you can only use it continuously for about 15-20 minutes before you have to let it cool down for a bit. Second, the basket it kind of small and has to be emptied more often than I thought it would. Beyond those two minor things, this is a really good shredder!
