I had ordered this simple-to-use barcode scanner when I recently bought some software to inventory items in my home (DVDs, CDs, etc). It works quite well, and very simple to use. Unfortunately the software I purchased this to use with is not so user-friendly. Apparently the software has a hard time finding some (many) of the items I am scanning. The scanner is great, but be careful when you order inventory software that relies on outside companies for information. They seem to miss a lot, which then takes away the very purpose of buying the scanner. I hoped to make my life easier when working, which it would, if everything worked well together.
