It's using a menu of pictures/symbols for common phrases for a traveler or accidental tourist! Pic category, subjects, then various phrases are put together for you. Think of a BERLITZ small traveling phrase book, not everything is in there, but ENOUGH to get you through most situations.

My only disappointment, that there has been nothing in the collabrative software side of things to let the public/members/customers, add in modules and extentions. Imagine an Olympic edition? or a Holiday addition? Cater more towards business, socializing, traveling, extended Dining?

If you have the palm/software/devices still enabled and you want something HANDY to do with your palm....I would suggest this for the price.
