There are not many Spanish character Typewriters left on the market. This one does its job well enough. The ribbons for this are much cheaper than those I found for the competition (Nakajima). Visually, the black ribbon, and effect of the correction ribbon, look good on paper. The case materials don't seem too strong if you need to transport it around a lot, but should be fine if you just leave it in one location. The paper tray on the back turns into a dust cover for the keyboard (nice addition).

I only use the basic features, I can't comment on the many advanced features this typewriter offers, but it's nice to know they are available if I'm willing to spend the time to learn them.

The instruction manual included was only in Spanish. The key locations are in the traditional Spanish spots (not the usual United States keyboard). So I would only recommend this if Spanish is your main language, and not for someone that needs an English typewriter with an occasional Spanish Character added.
