This SimplyShred PSC418D Shredder is both good looking and robust, able to handle up to 18 pages at a time, plastic credit cards, and CD/DVD discs. We run a small business that deals with customer's personal data, including Social Security Numbers and credit card data, and also generate proprietary information that we do not want to be shared with someone "dumpster diving" into our trash.

The shredder comes fully assembled and ready to run right out of the box. We use inexpensive "shredder bags" to catch the shredded material, but they are not required since the removal hopper can just be emptied into a trash bin. The shreds are very small on the paper and credit cards, giving me confidence that no one will be able to easily reassemble the pages and the CD/DVDs are cut into strips that effectively renders them unreadable (see video).

This is a well made shredder that looks very professional in my office, giving my customers confidence that their personal data is not going to fall into the wrong hands.
