This scale has a battery compartment held in place by two small tabs, which are easy to break, especially since the battery underneath is not clasped in by anything other than the battery cover - it springs open when the cover is removed. I have two of these, one bought from Amazon, and one arrived with a tab broken, while the other broke a few months later. Since the battery is not held closed by anything other than the cover it occasionally loses power.

On top of that, neither of these scales measures to an accuracy of more than 0.1 on very small amounts. Sure, it displays to 0.01g but that's useless when remeasurings can vary by much larger amounts. It does great measuring the 100g and 50g calibration weights, but try and weigh a 0.5gram item? Good luck getting close to accurate, ever.
