I ordered two of these, one for myself and one for a gift. I like the size to carry around and jot down ideas. I love to paint in oils, so this little sketchbook will fit my needs and save my ideas for future paintings. Ink is not supposed to bleed through, but I haven't used ink to find out. I use pencil mostly.
