I got this sketchbook because of the design on the front and I am very happy with the quality of it. I use mainly pens and super-fine markers and I haven't had any trouble with bleed. I do put a piece of heavy paper behind each page to make sure it doesn't leave any marks on the next page. I usually carry it in my purse and the cover is holding up very well. I definitely recommend it.
