I ordered this notbook to keep recipes in that I fix for my husband. He is gluten sensitive and dairy sensitive and diabetic, so I keep recipes in a notebook with a running commentary on what works and what doesn't and modifications to recipes. This notebook is too small for that. However, it was totally my own fault that I didn't notice or take into account the size.

Other than that, it's a nice little notebook. It's pretty and solid and has pockets in it and seems well constructed. I like it and may keep it for a journal.
