Purchased this audio bible for my mother who has a fear of all things electronic. I would not have purchase this item for myself because the volume is to low and because it is a battery operated product. When gone thru a couple packs of batteries within 7 days. i've purchased the lithium batteries hoping they will last longer. My mother likes to use the audio back lite and scroll functions. I also purchased the Sony ZX series headphone which covers her entire ear and provides a very thick cushion that protects the ears. She loves them.
